The APDIS MV5X is a portable laser radar metrology system, powered by Aeva FMCW technology, that performs fast non-contact feature and surface measurements over volumes of roughly 3,000 cubic meters with length accuracy around 20 micrometers plus 19 micrometers per meter. Weighing under 12kg and rated IP54 for shop-floor use, it is used for large-scale inspection tasks such as automotive body-in-white checks, aerospace wing and nacelle assembly verification, and satellite antenna alignment.
